Expert design, supply, installation and maintenance of Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery systems for homes and businesses across Ayrshire and Arran.
Clydebank Installations Ltd brings over 35 years of ventilation industry experience, and 20 years specialising specifically in MVHR, to homes and developments across Ayrshire. Whether you’re building a new home in Troon, extending a property in Ayr, renovating a period house in Kilmarnock, or working on a coastal self-build near Largs or Prestwick, our team designs and fits heat recovery ventilation systems that keep your home warm, dry and free from condensation year-round.
Ayrshire’s mix of new-build estates and older, harder-to-heat housing stock means ventilation strategy varies a lot from job to job and its coastal, often damp climate makes proper moisture control especially important. We work directly with architects, builders, main contractors and homeowners to get the design right from the outset, not just bolted on at the end.
Ayrshire’s exposure to Atlantic weather brings higher humidity and more airtight modern building standards, both of which increase the risk of condensation, damp and mould if a property isn’t ventilated properly. An MVHR system solves this by constantly extracting stale, moisture-laden air from kitchens and bathrooms while supplying filtered fresh air to living spaces and bedrooms, recovering the heat from the outgoing air in the process, so you’re not just venting your heating straight outside.
For new-build developments in particular, where airtightness targets are increasingly strict, a correctly specified MVHR system isn’t just a nice-to-have.. It’s often essential to keeping the building performing as designed.

Clydebank Installations ltd fitted the MVHR system in my self build home In Millport , Isle of Cumbrae. The service from Allan and his team was courteous efficient and professional. The finished product was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this contractor.
I have worked with Allan and his team on numerous projects, always found him very helpful, organised with extremely good workmanship, works extremely well alongside other trades onsite and is very accommodating, helping find solutions when the inevitable problems arise.
Anderson Floor Warming recently subcontracted Clydebank Installations to install the mechanical ventilation heat recovery system within a large, high-end spec. domestic property in the west end of Glasgow. Allan’s design input was very helpful and assisted us to tailor the outline design provided by the client’s Consulting Engineer. We found Clydebank Installations’ standard of workmanship to be very good and they were very professional in their approach throughout the installation and commissioning of the system. We have no hesitation recommending them or using them again.
